Acne Clinical Trials: What is Acne?

Acne is a common skin condition that occurs when hair follicles become clogged with oil and dead skin cells. It often results in the formation of pimples, whiteheads, blackheads, and, in more severe cases, cysts or nodules. Acne typically appears on the face, but it can also affect other areas of the body such as the neck, chest, back, and shoulders.
