Prurigo Nodularis Clinical Trials: What is PN?

Prurigo Nodularis (PN) is a chronic skin condition characterized by intensely itchy, raised nodules that develop due to repeated scratching or rubbing. These nodules, often firm and dome-shaped, typically appear on the arms, legs, or trunk but can occur anywhere on the body. The constant itching creates a vicious cycle, where scratching worsens the condition, leading to more nodules and persistent discomfort. PN is often linked to underlying conditions such as eczema, atopic dermatitis, or systemic diseases like diabetes or kidney dysfunction.
