How to see your dermatologist while social distancing

As the entire world is taking steps to address the COVID-19, or Coronavirus, epidemic, the team here at the Dermatology Treatment and Research Center is doing the same. We know that many of our patients need to see our doctors as soon as possible for specific skincare needs. Dr. Clay Cockerell are here to serve patients in the area of Dallas, TX and beyond during this difficult time. Because we know that skincare is important, we have chosen to keep our office open to service individuals.

In doing so, we offer two options for our patients to choose from when making an appointment:

• In-office appointments - Patients who are interested in appointments directly with our staff are welcome to book a visit at our facility. During this time, we are making sure that our staff follows the strict CDC guidelines outlined for proper sanitizing of our stations, examination rooms, equipment, and all patient contact surfaces. These are sanitized after each use as well as at the end of the business day.
• Virtual appointments - We understand that many patients may feel apprehensive about visiting the office personally, or may be in a situation where they are high-risk due to age or preexisting conditions. In situations such as this, we offer virtual appointments. These online video visits allow our patients to visit the doctors from the safety of their own homes. We can provide evaluations and many routine services in this manner, and welcome patients to make video appointments if they are uncomfortable about getting out of the house. The safety and health of our patients and our staff is our number one priority!
